Manchester United’s striker 26-year-old Romelu Lukaku is one of Ole Gunner Solksjaer’s top men in the team and it looks like Inter Milan FC is more than just interested in the player. According to Lukaku’s agent, Federico Pastorello, Inter Milan is definitely interested in the United striker, with Lukaku expressing similar intentions to joining the Red Devils.
Pastorello was spotted in a meeting with executives from Inter Milan at the club’s offices last Wednesday and told Sky sports, “It was just a chat, I spoke with the director (Giuseppe Marotta) to understand the club’s intentions with the player. They will take the decisions, we can’t put a time frame on it. We will see the decisions they will take. We do not decide them: it is clear that if they want to buy the player, they have to move.”
This difficult transfer deal has been ongoing for months and continues to leave Lukaku unsettled for the next season. However, the 26-year-old striker will be back to training on Monday. Nothing is set in stone yet and much more can happen in the next few months, the ball’s in Inter Milan’s court.
